King Ropes

kinghats2 Browsing through the summer Patagonia catalog, something non-Patagonia caught my eye. A King Ropes hat. For me, hats are less about style than a little insight into your roots and nothing could be more quintessentially Wyoming than a King Ropes hat. Sold by the dozen at all the rural feed stores, it was a must-have accessory. Mine ended up at the bottom of Pathfinder reservoir after a windy day at Grey Reef. Might be time for another. King Ropes, Sheridan, WY.
