Off the Hanger: Pond Hockey

pond_hockey

Somehow I got roped into an upcoming 3 day marathon pond hockey tournament, so its time to get on the ice. Luckily it has been colder than hell so the ponds are in good shape for weekend pickups. I’ll probably go full gear when the time comes but the weekenders are a little more casual.

There is some distance now, so this post provided a flood of nostalgia for the nose-chilling, skate-dulling pond hockey days. I’ll just imagine that the Sher-wood PMP 5030 has the Coffey curve.

The Coffey curve is definitely the way to go, and the Warrior Stroker gloves may be the ugliest/coolest gloves made recently… this is my favorite post yet! I’m actually playing tonight, puck drops at 10:45.

Played this weekend, good stuff. Play, shovel, repeat. Watch out for those soft spots!
