Maybe it’s the Olympic spirit that has motivated me but we’ve managed to get out a few times this winter to hit up the fantastic trails just north of us for a few skate sessions. This time of year usually lends itself to good snow so hopefully there will be a few more trips (as well as some backcountry action).

I stayed home from work today and watched the US Men’s Curling team lose to Germany.
The American’s really “spent the stone” on this match – there must of been a “bias” on the “core” or the game was played on some “drug ice” – I mean one american attempted to “fill the port” as a “gogsee” and threw a “hog-stone” even after the “skip” yelled “hands-ups”, the stone fell no where near the “house”.
