With a focus on titanium framesets, simple drivetrains, unique frame geometry and some insanely large weelset options, Black Sheep Custom Bikes is a high end bike nut’s dream come true. Based in Fort Collins, the shop offers quite a few frame models as well as custom build options and help with build kits. Prices are definitely not for the timid, but if it’s literally time to trade in the car for a bike, it might be the right choice (even if you need to throw in the extra cash).

I saw Black Sheep at the North American HandMade Bike Show this past winter, beautiful bikes. The did however remind me of those made by Jeff Jones, in fact the similarity in my eyes is uncanny. I asked the dood at Black Sheep about that similarity, he didnt seem to appreciate the comparison. Thoughts?
Oh for sure, I don’t see how you could not think they are in the same vein, but you know, sometimes it’s just frustrating to be compared. Maybe it’s the hate for those Jones H-bars.
